Urgent Disputed Transaction Ignored While Business Account Drained

I am honestly beyond shocked by the way FNB has handled an urgent disputed transaction on my business account tonight.

An amount of over USD 2,100 linked to Google advertising was suddenly deducted from my account without my knowledge or proper authorisation from the account/card which should never have been charged in the first place.

The result is that I have effectively been left without accessible funds overnight.

What followed afterwards was an absolute disaster in terms of support and communication.

Because I currently do not have access to a functioning phone due to ongoing circumstances, I first attempted to use FNB’s online chat support, which felt completely useless and disconnected. I was then referred to the business desk, where communication became inconsistent and delayed, before eventually being pushed to the ***** department.

Instead of receiving urgent assistance or practical support in what is clearly a severe financial emergency, I was simply told that “nothing can be done” and that the investigation process could take between 7 and 13 days.

In the meantime, I am left asking a very basic question: How exactly am I expected to continue operating, travelling to work and functioning professionally if my available funds have effectively disappeared overnight through a disputed transaction?

What is even more frustrating is that throughout my long history with FNB, there seems to be a recurring pattern where the moment one expresses frustration or raises concerns strongly after being bounced between departments repeatedly, calls are abruptly terminated instead of situations being properly managed or escalated constructively.

At no stage tonight did I feel that the seriousness, urgency or financial impact of the situation was genuinely understood.

I am formally disputing the transaction and urgently requesting proper intervention, escalation and meaningful assistance from FNB before further financial prejudice is caused.

At present, I can unfortunately only communicate reliably via email due to not having access to a functioning phone.
