Urgent Complaint Regarding *****ulent Transaction and Honouring Fe

To Whom It May Concern,

I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding a *****ulent transaction that occurred on my account on Friday, 17 May 2025. The incident involved unauthorized access, where all the funds in my account were taken, including an extension into my overdraft facility.

While I appreciate that the *****ulent amount has since been refunded, I was extremely disappointed to find that I was still charged an R200 honouring fee due to insufficient funds in my account at the time the *****ulent transaction occurred.

This charge is deeply unfair, as the transaction was not authorized by me, and the insufficiency of funds was not due to my actions but rather a direct result of the *****. I should not be held financially responsible for the consequences of ******** activity that targeted me.

I respectfully request a full reversal of the R200 honouring fee charged to my account. Though R200 may not seem significant, in the current economic climate, every cent matters — and more importantly, this is about principle and fairness.

Thank you for your urgent attention to this matter.

Reviewer Update
I am writing to express my deep disappointment and frustration regarding the handling of a ***** case and the replacement of my bank card.
On Friday of last week, I reported *****ulent activity on my account and simultaneously requested a replacement card. On Monday, the 19th, I visited my nearest branch where a consultant assisted me in applying for a replacement card via the FNB App.
However, by Wednesday, there was still no update. I proceeded to apply online myself, yet again, I received no feedback or confirmation. Today, I engaged with an FNB representative, Nokukhanya, via chat. She informed me that there was no card application showing on my account and then mentioned that I do not have a credit limit on my account. I do not fully understand what this means, as it was never previously communicated as a requirement for card replacement.
I was then told I would need to either apply for a credit limit or downgrade my Fusion Premier Account to a Premier Current Account in order to get a new card. I find it completely unacceptable that I should be forced to change my account type simply to obtain a new card—especially in the wake of a ***** case.
It has now been over a week since this ordeal began. To make matters worse, today is payday and I still do not have a functioning card to access my funds. I was also charged a R200 honouring fee due to insufficient funds caused by the ***** on my account, which adds further insult to injury.
I need urgent assistance and a clear explanation of how I can receive my new card without altering my account or applying for a credit limit. This experience has been distressing and has caused significant inconvenience. I expect this issue to be resolved immediately.
Please respond as a matter of urgency.
