URGENT ACTION REQUIRED: FNB Unjustly Blocked My Accounts for Over 3 Months – No Resolution Despite Proof Provided!

My name is Adekunle Osayemi, and I am beyond disappointed and mentally drained by the gross negligence, silence, and lack of accountability displayed by FNB’s ***** Department regarding a simple P2P transaction that took place over 3 months ago.

On April 17th, 2025, I conducted a legitimate P2P trade via BINANCE, selling digital assets worth $526.95 (R10,170.13) to a verified trader, BILLIONAIRE_888, who transferred the agreed amount from his ABSA account to my FNB Business Account (63136***425). The transaction was instant, confirmed, and successful from both ends.

Yet, on April 24th, I received an email from FNB ***** officer Nukeri Beverly, under case number ***, stating that the payment was flagged as *****ulent. In panic and good faith, I reached out to the Binance buyer who reconfirmed the payment, provided a valid Proof of Payment (POP), and reassured me the transaction was cleared on his end. I sent this information to FNB the same day.

Since then, it has been a non-stop circle of negligence, silence, and vague responses from FNB. I was repeatedly told:

“We will release once the payer’s bank confirms the payment is in order.”

Despite relaying this message back to the sender, and his assurance that ABSA’s ***** team confirmed the transaction was legitimate, FNB refused to move forward. I followed up again and again – April 28, May 13, and countless times since. At a point, I stopped receiving responses altogether.

I physically visited FNB branches repeatedly, especially at Rosebank Mall, to no avail. No staff could help, calls to the ***** department were pointless, and I was met with nothing but confusion and blank stares. I was treated like an inconvenience, not a customer. The assigned rep ignored my emails for days. This was not just incompetence—it felt like deliberate dismissal.

To make matters worse, because a fraction of the R10,170 had been transferred to my Standard Bank personal account, FNB escalated the freeze to my Standard Bank account as well, effectively shutting down my entire financial life – both FNB business and personal, and Standard Bank personal.

I have done everything right. I am an innocent trader who received a legitimate payment, provided every piece of documentation requested, and yet I am now financially paralyzed due to FNB’s careless and unjustified actions.

I am attaching all supporting evidence according to the events above. I am now forced to escalate this matter publicly and pursue legal options if FNB does not restore my account access immediately.

REQUEST FOR IMMEDIATE ACTION • Unblock my FNB Business and Personal Accounts • Notify Standard Bank that the issue has been resolved so they lift their block • Offer a formal apology and explanation for this unacceptable delay and mistreatment

FNB: This is unacceptable. I demand justice. This is not just about money, it’s about the emotional and professional trauma I’ve endured due to your systemic failure to protect and assist your customer.
