Upgrading to a cheque account

After being spammed on my eligibility to upgrade my current account to a cheque account, I finally app**** for one. I was then phoned by a courier company to confirm delivery date and time, I was told I only needed to provide a copy of my ID and they could not deliver the card to my nearest branch. On the day it was dropped off, the gentleman asked for proof of residence (the house is not in my name and I was given no previous notice to provide such documents). The only document I had available was my payslip which was the original copy and off he went. Not too long after that I received an sms stating that the fica documents provided were not valid and I'd need to email the correct documents within 30 days. The very next day on the 2nd of March I emailed the documents to the email address on the sms, which was incorrect and had to call for the correct address. I was then notified that the documents had been received and I'd hear from someone within 48 hours, which never took place. I then received an sms yesterday stating that my account is frozen due to the documents, yet I was not even informed that they were incorrect. Debit orders go off tomorrow. What must happen now?
