Upgrade to private wealth for worse service - and lost eBucks tier

I recently upgraded my credit card with FNB from platinum to a wealth card. I needed to call the number on the card for a query I had. I called the number twice over 2 days and in both cases was in queue for 15 minutes plus. This was the start.

A week or so later I noticed I had lost my ebucks tier status. I was told this was becuase I had not upgraded my cheque account at the same time. No one warned me about this.

And then add a final insult there was special running in the ebucks store for an item my kids wanted, had I kept my tier I would have got 20% off. I asked my private banker if she could help and there was a flat no with no apology or empathy.

If Tracey Lee has actually made an attempt to acknowledge my frsutration or offer an apology or try to resolve my request I would still be banking with FNB.

So today FNB cheque and credit card just lost a customer for life...

I write this so they can learn from this, not so I can won back.
