Unwilling to help and overall bad attitude

I am a premier client with multiple accounts at FNB, including a homeloan.

I called in March to give notice that I was selling my home. I was told that i have 6 months to sell, and if I sell within the first three months incur penalties. I was also told that I can phone again before the six months is up and extend the period if my home still hasn't sold, to avoid another penalty period.

So I phoned again today to extend and was told that I had to create a new notice and that the three months penalty period starts again, CONTRARY to what I was originally told. I was (and still am pretty upset), so being very confused and angry I told the consultant to do it.

In this state and confusion, I only realized after the call that I should have waited until next month when the original period was over. So I called back to try and cancel the notice i just gave, in favor of the original notice that is still in force.

The consultant i spoke to actually s******ed and said it is not possible as the new notice deletes the old one. What kind of systems are FNB running? I made the decision without proper advice and was very angry at the time. Surely this can be rectified and reversed???

FNB exist only to ***** customers over.
