Unsuccessful cash deposit at ATM

On 20/08/2018 at around 17:05 I went to FNB Northmead square branch to deposit cash for my credit card payment at the ATM. After I filled in the acc numbers etc and out my money in the machine gave me an error stating it's out of order and printed a slio saying my payment was unsuccessfull, however the machine did not return my R600 or deposit it to the account number I entered. I called the branch this morning and was advised I cannot be helped I must go in to the branch, I did advise I cannot go in to the branch due to my working hours, I was still told I must go in. I think this is comoletely unacceptable that I have to somehow put in leave for a technical fault from the bank side. I need this money to be credited to the account I requested before the end of the week as my payment will be coming due, failing in which I will take it as far as I need to. I am not going to take off work, or wait until the weekend to get assisted on the matter. Please can someone contact me as to how I can resolve this without having to be inconvenienced for an error that is not mine.
