UNSATISFIED

In Light of world wide pandemic, FNB was gracious enough to offer me a cash flow relief plan which had been granted seamlessly and approved for 3 months. Since I am in the Toursim Sector my company has further extended a reduced Salary until End September, I Then requested for an extension on this which I sent through all supporting documents and was told that this was approved. I had to go into the Branch on 01 August to be advised nothing they can really do and rather called the Call Centre from the Branch. I was then told it would take 48 Hours and i will be contacted from FNB. Wednesday 05 August, received a call from FNB advising this was approved and reversal of debit orders would be rectified within 48 Hours. 48 Hours later, 07 August I call FNB and am advised that its actually 48 working hours which I could not understand however if that is the rules then i have no choice but to accept.

Tuesday 10 August, called to speak to a manager and am told the manager will get back to me. of course this does not happen. Had to call again...

Between yesterday and today i think I have explained this story over and over to about 10 consultants at FNB and all of them could only say " My Request has been logged and will take 48 Hours "

I have never come to hate the term 48 hours before this constant back and forth with FNB. It is absolutely shocking the complete lack of customer service where clients are left to follow up daily and not a single one can take initiative to call me and explain to me what the delay is.

Called in numerous times and every time I called in i am told they are working remotely and cannot transfer me to a manager. The latest call a few minutes ago, spoke to Palesa who sadly had to deal with an irate client and asked me to hold on while she tried getting in touch with her manager. 5 minutes later call cut, so now I have to call back yet again, speak to someone new and explain this long winded story over and over again just to be told that it will take 48 hours to get a response. PLEASE can I understand when 48 HRS start from and what is the true definition of " FNB 48 Hrs" ???

How many times must I explain my story ? How many consultants need to hear it ? How long does it take for someone to provide a resolution ? How come the guys handling COVID 19 Relief has no way of being contacted by FNB besides by logging a complaint ??

Honestly think switching banks is the much better option at this stage because unfortunately the " How Can We Help You" slogan does not apply to everyone!!!
