unsatisfactory sevice. fnb does not know logic and basic maths e.g. 1+1=2
1+1=2. Logical and basic mathematics. Agreed. Every normal persons answer is yes but not F.N.B. I had a credit card +- 10 years ago and bought a business where the previous owners commited ***** and i ended up going under administration. under administration all my debts were handed over to these lawyers who then paid off all my debts. the credit card i had was handed over to f.n.b. legal dept which was paid off while i was under administration. logic (1+1=2) dictates to me that said fnb legal dept should have sent fnb crewdit dept a letter to say that credit card acc was setteled but it was not logical to fnb. futher more it is not logical to fnb, when i recently app**** for a new credit card, that the credit dept may not contact legal dept directly and ask for suck settlement letter. i just spent 2 hours of my time at fnb branch to get said letter and have it sent to credit dept. i have had the same bank acc for 33 years which is longer than what fnb exists. previously barckleys bank. this is the type of service one gets from fnb. eveytime i app**** for vehicle finance fnb declines or gives high interest rate where a certain other bank gives me finance at lower rate no hassle. same for my homeloans. i have been a loyal customer. where is fnb loyalty towards me????? when i app**** for the credit card i had all necessary docs with me which were scaned and emailed to credit dept. seems credit dept does not know how to read or to work email or combination of both, as a 2 weeks later i still had not recieved a phone call from credit dept to speak to me about my application because they were still waiting for the docs which were already scanned and sent 2 weeks prior. i had to take off work to go to the bank to find out wats happening and have it sorted out. a week later credit dept phones looking for settlement letter for a 10year old acc. costs me to again take off from work to go to bank to sort out. i get paid hourly. no work no pay. so i do not get paid for going to the bank to sort this out. my hourly rate is just under R200 an hour, but i will round off to R200 an hour for diesel etc. both times i took of work i lost approximately 10 hours of salary which comes to R2000. my bill which i am charging fnb for services rendered to them regarding my acc and for stress and anger and frustration they have caused me amounts to R1milion. payable by the end of the month into my account. i have a very big desire to stop being a fnb customer and move to another bank. fnb must give me a extremely good reason why i should not go to another bank after being a lifelong customer of fnb. if i have a problem with pietjie and i give my lawyer instruction to sort out the problem i expect my lawer to give feed back and if i expect that i can at anytime ask directly for feedback. basic logic and maths. 1+1=2.
