Unreliable credit checks cause huge financial loss

On 05/12/2016 my email was hacked and an invoice with hackers bank details send from my email to a client. The client therefore not knowing better, paid the amount of R5000 (One payment of R1000 and another of R4000) into the hackers FNB account instead of my account. I realised this on 06/12/2016. I phoned FNB ***** department at15:26 to ask for advise. FNB consultants confirmed that the funds was still in the relevant account. My original emails and invoice was deleted by the hacker as I was trying to print the evidence. On 08/12/2016 I confirmed again from FNB ***** deprt that the funds were still in the relevant account (FT Petzer.Acc: ********** 3126). I was contacted by the police yesterday after I opened an inquiry at the police, I was told that the hacker managed to use the funds in December at an ATM and Checkers Kemptonpark. According to FNB the proof of residence, work and private contact detail of this hacker are all false. How did the hacker manage to use the funds after I put a hold on the account TWICE and how did this person open an account with false documents? Why wasn't a check done? What is the use of all this? Due to FNB neglegance, I now am expected to write this loss off. If FNB did what they needed to do, I could have been refunded. Why should I carry this loss and why do we need all these documents if they are useless?

Once again, FNB dissapoints!!! Sending a generic, one size fits all, copy and paste message assuring me as a client that my issue was of importance and been reffered to the relevant department is just NOT good enough. I gave ALL info needed and yet, NO response since 27 January. Why did I EVER think FNB would actually have my interest as a client at heart? Being a loyal client for years means NOTHING.

It's been almost 2 months since my 1st review ans STILL NO results. FNB responded with a typical "copy" "paste" response assuring me they are escalating the issue, but as I suspected, this was just another file 13. FNB, by sending a "copy" "paste" message does NOT mean service at all. How on earth can we trust our bank if they cant resolve an issue after I provided ALL relevant info and did all the homework and investigating? I used to believe FNB has the customers interest at heart, but I was definately wrong, absolutely dissapointing. I'm no longer interested to be part of this institute.
