Unprofessional, ********* and unprocedural shenanigans going on at First National Bank!

I work for an Embassy and recieve my salary in dollars every month. My salary is transferred from the Embassy's bank in New York to my FNB account on the last day of the month. I then receive the forex on the 1st day of the following month, unless the 1st falls on a weekend or public holiday. This is how it has been since I started receiving my salary like this in December 2015. This month, despite having the proof of transfer in my hand from the bank in New York that the transfer had been done on the 31st of May, it took two phone calls to Forex and an email with the proof of transfer to get anyone to trace my salary. While this was going on, debits were bouncing and I was incurring penalties! So basically someone sat on the transfer for six days! Worst of all is I have lost a lot of money on the exchange, because the rand streghtened significantly between 1 June and 6 June! On 6 June I received an email informing me that the forex had been traced, asked me to give a reason for it and confirm if the funds should be released in to my account. Ahh, duh! Obviously! I rep**** that it was my salary and that they could release the forex. Later in the day, nothing had come through and so I again phoned Forex, who told me there was no Forex in my account! I told the consultant about the email and after being put on hold and listening to music for an extended period of time, I was told that they had traced the forex and would release it later in the day. I was completely shocked to find out that a few hours later they had released rands in to my account! I always recieve dollars and have 30 days to exchange it (this is FNB's policy), based on accepting an exchange rate. So someone from FNB took it upon themself to decide when and at what rate they can exchange my forex! I am absolutely livid! I have lost money and incurred expenses! I have written to the forex depratment and the general FNB complaints department, but suprise-suprise, have had no reply! I know I am no-one and I my salary does not qualify me in the Rockafellows bracket, but this is totally unacceptable! I request that FNB give me the exchange rate of 1 June (when the money should have been in my account) and reverse the penalties.
