Unpaid Debit Orders

Dear FNB, I am writing to express my concerns about my funeral policy with FNB, which I have been paying consistently for over the last few years. Unfortunately, due to recent financial difficulties, I have struggled to ensure that sufficient funds are available in my account to cover the policy premium. This has led to multiple unpaid debit orders, resulting in significant bank charges.

I have noticed that these charges are often half the amount of my policy premium, adding to my financial burden. This month, two separate debit orders were attempted for my funeral policy, each of which incurred bank charges equivalent to my monthly premium. Consequently, I now need to first cover these erroneous bank charges before being able to pay my policy premium, which is exacerbating my financial situation.

If these unpaid debit orders can be reversed it would be appreciated if FNB could reconsider the current approach to avoid further financial strain on clients facing temporary financial hardships.

Your understanding and support in this matter would be greatly appreciated, and I hope we can find a solution that allows me to continue my policy and retain me as a FNB Client without the additional financial burden.

Dear FNB, I am writing again to express my frustration and concern regarding the lack of communication and assistance with the ongoing issue of unpaid debit orders for my funeral policy. Despite my previous correspondence, no one from FNB has contacted me to address this matter.
Today i was charged again for unpaid debit orders due to insufficient funds, even though these debit orders had been stopped in previous months. This has resulted in nearly R1000 in accrued charges that I simply cannot afford. I am deeply concerned about how this situation is being handled and feel that my financial well-being is not being prioritized.
FNB, how are you helping me in this situation? I urgently need a resolution to this issue, as the continued accumulation of charges is placing an unbearable strain on my finances.
