UNPAID ACCIDENT DEATH COVER BENEFITS

A funeral policy (FI ********** ) was registered under the policy holder Mr Musa Mkoko id ********** 612088.The beneficiary to the policy is Ms Thandi Mkoko id ********** 192081.The policy holder was involved in a motor car accident on 2018/07/07 and died in the process . A claim was lodged on 16/10/2018 at the FNB Jhb Branch in Eloff Street Johannesburg by Ms Thandi Mkoko. The policy had an accidental cover attached to it and it was expected that when the policy pay out the option should be considered .The police report and all relevant documents were submitted except the post mortem which was obtained from the Investigating officer from Saps (Dawn Park Cas 58/07/2018 ) on 30/11/2018. The accident benefits were never paid out and no reason was given .The second aspect is that the bank has the contact details and cellphone numbers of the claimant but nothing has been communicated to her .
