Unnecessarily high bank charges

I've been applying for a fusion account since February as my account tends to be overdrawn due to late banking and fnb has been charging me ridiculous bank charges for honouring payments. Yet everytime I send through an application for a fusion account which I believe can remedy the situation my applications always "expire". The bank charges are ridiculous, rather not honour those payments than charge me R180 for a R350 transaction, that's absurd. At the same time I'm told that my fusion application is being processed only to be told that it has expired a week later.
