******** DEBIT ORDERS

A debit order in the amount of R207 was deducted from my FNB account on 3 March 2022. Upon enquiring, I was informed that it was a Sanlam Life debit order. I did not authorise any debit orders with Sanlam. The lady at FNB I spoke to informed me that there is a new and an old system for authorising debit orders, and that this debit order was authorised through the old system. In the old system the bank does not check with me, the account holder to make sure that a debit order was actually authorised by me. FNB PLEASE UPDATE YOUR WAY OF DEALING WITH DEBIT ORDERS TO AVOID THESE TYPE OF *****ULANT TRANSACTIONS. IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY AS HOLDER OF MY MONEY.
