Uninformed employees gave wrongful information

I recently moved from a certain South African bank to FNB. The sole reason was for the eBucks benefits. The operator (who first assisted me over the telephone) gave me the wrong information, and was clearly not informed. Later I went into the above mentioned bank to complete the process, Again I had a similar conversation with the consultant. She also very specifically told me that I can swipe my credit card anywhere and that I earn eBucks EVERY TIME I swipe. One of the points that stood out to me and that I corrected my friends and family (wrongfully) on, was the fact that I earn eBucks from filling up at ANY gas station, not just Engen. Today I received an sms that I have not earned ANY eBucks since switching banks in October 2015. I have ONLY used my credit card since I was under the impression that I am busy accumulating many points. I not only found out now that I do not earn eBucks from gas stations other than Engen, but that I don't earn eBucks from gas stations at all. If I had the correct information from the start I would've shopped at the right places and have been earning a lot by now.
