Unilateral change in bank charges

I recently joined FNB as a Premier Client in December 2016. This was a result of my wife taking up employment with FNB and me being promised that I will also qualify for staff rates as her spouse. Consequently I closed my accounts with my previous bank and moved to FNB. I now received an email stating that I no longer qualify for staff rates from 1 April, no reasons were furnished for this decision. I logged a query with my "premier banker" on the banking site, but received only a blank email in reply. This level of service is totally unacceptable.
