FNB promises a further discount on your home loan if you move your salary and debit Orders. But what they don't tell you is how difficult they make this process. I have been try from about a month now. I have been to the branch more times than I care to remember now. Consultants call to email the form but I have been waiting for weeks now. When I went to the branch to get a confirmation letter, I tried on their computer for 2 hours. It just sited "Error unknown" which I tried to explain to the staff but they insisted they cannot help clients with queries they can and must do on their own. After the 2 hours of waiting and trying to access the confirmation letter on their system, it only took the teller 2 minutes to eventually help me with a confirmation letter once they understood that they have a system error.
