UNFAIRLY BLOCKED COMPANY ACCOUNTS AND ABUSE OF POWER AT FNB

On 21 July 2023 our account was blocked from transacting because of a ***** case that opened by FNB forensic against me. On the 28 July 2023 the court pronounced on a decision not to prosecute, and we went to the FNB branch in Greenstone trying to have my account back and they said they could not help me, only the forensic guys can remove the block.

There have been numerous calls to the FNB Forensic person who placed the block through our lawyer to open our accounts, but it seems those calls fall into deaf ears. This displays a total abuse of power and we are unfairly targeted with no firm reason to do so. We have 7 accounts (5 are company accounts) that are linked to directors profile and all have been blocked from transacting.

This is frustrating and unfair of FNB to allow this to happen to its customers and especially company accounts that were not even related to the matter. The court of law has issues it’s decision on the matter and yet still the vile treatment we receive is unjust. It simply says FNB do not care about it’s clients, they are a law themselves and are giving me a middle finger when we try to access my accounts back. It is just ridiculous that a decision to reinstate my accounts lies with one individual who is intentionally hogging the process and keeping us blocked even when the case has been closed.

FNB must look into this as we have been unfairly treated and it has been prolonged to the point where it affected our businesses and customers badly. The operations in our businesses were disrupted and we incurred loses due to not having access our accounts and monies in our accounts.

If FNB does not want us to have an account with them, then they must pay us all the monies in the account so we can move to a bank that care about their clients. We cannot live by middle finger treatment on daily basis and based on matters that have been closed.
