Unfair treatment of customer -going around in circles - not complying with NCA rules

I have an overdraft with FNB. A law was passed in 2017 that obligated credit given to come with credit insurance. I was awarded double the credit I have with FNB after 2017 and they didn’t bother to inform me on the sales call about any requirements, as this was not an elective nor did they send me documents eluding to this requirement. We both have an obligation on this but they are not coming to the party they are shifting blame. first they said my account was open prior to 2017. Then when I asked about the additional credit they told me they would advertise insurance on the app or website, which I didn’t see. And that’s not the way to communicate such information or requirements. Then they said they tried to call me to tell me about it. And yet on the sales call, which they have admitted they didn’t touch on that subject. It’s been months of going around in circles. because the right thing would be to backdate unemployment insurance on my account, which I am willing to pay for, even though it’s not my fault. Because now that insurance is needed in this economic down turn. that would be fair. if this is not possible then please give me a final notice so we can take it further to the relevant ombud because as a financial institution you have not comp**** nor treated me fairly as a customer. Evan has been calling me later with updates where we are going around in circles. he has been pleasant but i need this matter concluded in writing. what i have asked hasn't changed, but your answers seem to. Do the right thing by treating your customers fairly, that law was done with much thinking and with good reason to protect you and your customers. you can’t pick and choose which laws you uphold. It’s a very stressful time, please exercise integrity. Please also give me contact details for the ombud and share this with your compliance officer and please give me their contact details as well along with your final resolution. I have in all fairness given you enough time to resolve this matter.
