Unfair treatment by FNB credit card division
My credit card account was handed over for collection to a law firm. I religiously honoured my payments until I settled the account on 25 September 2018. FNB credit card collections sent me a paid up letter and in the letter they indicated they will forward the same to ITC for status update. Approximately 60 days today and I am still listed as a defaulter and my profile has not been updated. FNB is deliberately and unfairly marginalising me from accessing credit. Nedbank and Absa Personal loans updated my credit profile within 7 days after settling their accounts. Why is FNB acting differently?
