UNFAIR TREATMENT

I would like to express my deepest despondency, for what I consider to be an extremely unfair treatment from First National Bank (FNB) where I have been a client for more than 10 years. I have requested an increase of my international limit in order for me to make some online payment or deposit on my trading account. I was denied that service simply because I am using an ASYLUM SEEKER TEMPORARY VISA. Why are we treated like sub-humans when we produce this document which has been legally given to us by the South African government. To me, there is a message sent to us (migrants) not only by FNB but by the South-African society as a whole. We are not welcome here. The proof: I have been myself an asylum seeker for more than 20 years now.... I believe the only reason my account still exist at FNB is because they can still make money from my account through the monthly fees.... but not for me as a client to receive a service in the way I choose to use my own money. I have honestly held FNB high as a bank and I would encourage any one to join them BUT now I am completely disillusioned. The message is clear: YOU ARE NOT WELCOME HERE.
