Unfair handling of my case

Hello FNB,

I have been a personal banking client with FNB for quite some time, and recently opened a business account as part of my growing operations. Part of my business operation involves trading on P2P marketplaces such as Binance and Bybit. Recently, my account was reported four times (including two reports from the same individual), which resulted in my account being placed on hold and preventing me from making payments. Upon contacting the ***** department, I was informed that a report had been received from Standard Bank indicating that I may have received *****ulent funds, and that I should await further communication via email. Despite this, business-related funds continued to flow into my account. I was not overly concerned, as I maintain proper records of all transactions, including payment receipts from buyers. I understand that in P2P trading, disputes or reports can arise for various reasons (which are most of the time resolved in the platform), and I was confident that the matter would be resolved promptly once I submitted the required documentation. Upon receiving the email request, I submitted all the requested documents within minutes (well within the 72-hour timeframe provided). However, the following day, I was contacted by a ***** analyst, who informed me that a unilateral decision had been made to terminate my account and freeze an amount of R44,858.55. I was further told that releasing the funds could enable me to continue alleged *****ulent activities. An accusation I found both rude and unprofessional, as I was not given a fair opportunity to present my case. Additionally, I was informed that my submitted documents could not be reviewed, despite being provided in standard formats (PDF and PNG), documents which I have sent again. It was also stated that the decision was influenced by the number of complaints received (4 in total) and that they are sure more complaints will arise. I am unaware of any FNB policy that mandates account termination after four complaints. For more context, in the past 30 days, I have completed as an advertiser with a goal to generate profit over 468 transactions, with individuals with whom I have no prior relationship, across Binance and Bybit (which act as escrow agents) and all through my FNB account, all supported by verifiable payment receipts confirming that I have fulfilled my obligations. And honestly, this whole situation remains unclear to me; the information provided by the initial consultant I called and what the ***** analyst communicated to me over email differs significantly from what was later communicated by the same ***** analyst over the phone, which raises concerns about the handling of my case. Can I please have proper feedback and turnaround time on the resolution of this matter, and eventually an escalation on my case, as all of my business operations are currently on hold as a result of this?
