Unfair billing

I went to an fnb atm to withdraw cash,as the atm made the shuffling noise and my money was about to come out,the alarm went off and a door covered the atm. I called the call centre and they advised that the atm shut down and my card had been blocked. I went into the bank this morning and advised the teller. She informed me that I would need to pay a fee of R120 to order a new card. What nonsense is this? Was it my fault that the machine had to shut down a certain time. There weren't any notices informing me not to use that atm. I can't believe how greedy and ********* this is. Fnb is charging me a fee to replace my card which wasnt even lost but was sucked in by one of their machine. This is ******* really. Amongst other ways of charging us this is the most pathetic way. Hope this helps someone out there

This reference was already given to me by the branch consultant. My concern here is that why should I have to pay to replace my card when the fault occurred at your atm which was out of my hands

Another point to be noted is the fact that I was told this query will take 7 days for feedback to be passed. Myself being the consumer feels like fnb thinks they are doing us a favor to bank with them.

So today I call the call centre to follow up as i received multiple smses about outstanding documents. First I was spoken to by a consultant who thinks he knows it all. His insisting that this is ***** and otherwise and kept on interupting me. On calling the branch thereafter for assistance I was transferred to a lady named meloshni who rudely slammed the phone down I'm my ear. What is this here? Is this the new trend of customer service
