Unfair Account Freezing
The KYC process has been terribly mismanaged, with extremely short timelines and absolutely no flexibility or understanding of the client needs or situation.

We were informed on 26th March via email of the KYC process and what documentation was needed and then received an sms on 30th March saying that our account would be frozen on April 1st.

I immediately informed FNB via the KYC desk & our business manager that our Directors are in JHB, PTA & CPT & that it would take time to get the same document to travel from branch to branch (a week from PTA to CPT using FNB couriers) and that 7 days was simply not enough.

Still - our accounts have been frozen and we are receiving absolutely no flexibility from FNB's side, nor any communication at all from anyone actually responsible for this process of how long it will take our account to be unfrozen

It is outrageous to give us 7 days to get everything signed and presented, and then freeze the accounts. Our operations have come to a halt and we have a team that may not be able to receive their salaries as a result of FNB's horrible process management and client relations.

Pls gt smeone with the authority to correct this to contact me
