********* and poor service

I am absolutely mind blown.

As much as I enjoy banking with FNB, its the small things that can really turn a client away.

I upgraded my account to a fusion account, this process was also blotched by the way, took many months for it to happen. Eventually it was sorted out. I was told I needed to go collect my new card, it did take me some time before I was able to collect it but eventually I did, my old card was destroyed and the new card activated. It worked without issues on the day, now I tried using my card and it was cancelled.

So I give FNB a call thinking no problem they will sort this out for me.....but no, it cannot be re-activated, "okay thats fine", we have to order you a new one and that will cost you one hundred and something, it will take 5 days to arrive. Now this is where I am mind blown, so FNB cancelled my working card without my request, and I must not only wait 5 days without a card but I must also pay for it!!!

Needless to say, I actually out of principle am considering closing my FNB accounts and going elsewhere.
