Unequipped to respond to it's customers as promised.
So as this is the only way to get a response from FNB here goes:
Today's date is 13 March.
On 5 February my son submitted an inquiry via his Online Banking as follows:
FNB OTP

Hi Before I went to Hong Kong in September last year I was contacted to change my OTP method to email. I was told this would automatically revert back to my cellphone ********** 185. This has not happened. I would like to have the option of receiving via my phone, even if secondary. As I was told it would revert back I do not wish to visit an ATM or a branch. Please reassign my OTPs to come to my cell as promised. Robert
Not a single response thus far.
On 2 March I submitted an inquiry via Online Banking as follows:
I have bought electricity using the FNB app and have not received the voucher number. I have gone to transaction history and tapped on the Electricity purchase.i do not find the voucher number here only a reference number which is too short and contains a comma and ends "..."
Please advise how to get the voucher number i have just paid for. Do not refer me to an atm.
I have screen shots confirming this inquiries were successfully submitted and that I would receive a response within 24-48 business hours.
On 11 March I sent an email to ********** to escalate the above query. I received my first email response from FNB immediately to let me know I would be contacted by a human within 24 hours.
48 hours later I'm back on hellopeter.
It worries me to realise that my bank is unequipped to respond to it's customers as promised.
NOTE: I have just located the token number for the electricity by going to BUY, ELECTRICITY, HISTORY on my online banking
Please address the OTP enquiry.
