Unemployed now due to the cumulative effects of the lockdowns, now unable to pay…what does FNB expect me to do?
I wish to make a complaint / query against FNB.
I am being seemingly threatened with legal action for my inability to pay my personal loans. However I am currently unemployed my last payment I received from my employer was on the 17th of February 2023. (A affidavit was sent to the FNB personal loans department and Anthony Richard and Associates regarding this.)
Since then I have no income and am relying on friends and family to literally survive.
Thus I in all honesty don't know what FNB expects me to do, as I am trying to find work. However due to the economic situation in South Africa it isn't a simple matter. Though I am trying.
Please also note that the only reason I took out this loan was due to a ****, which I fell victim to. Prior to this I never was in debt and have been a loyal FNB customer since 2007.
I would like some clarity from FNB as to what they expect me to do, when the situation I am in, is also due to the lockdowns in 2020, that affected the business I worked for.
It honestly feels as if FNB doesn't particularly care about the difficulties of their customers due to situations beyond their control.
