Underhand charging changes
I have a platinum cheque card that previously provided an added benefit of providing access to the slow lounge. It seems every few months or so that FNB slyly changes the terms and conditions for the access to the slow lounge and then charges clients fees for getting an extra service that was previously included.

A case in point, their 'new rules' for access to the slow lounge apparently requires a client to have a platimun cheque account and a credit card. They also claim that these new rules came into effect in July 2015.

I do not have a personal credit card and was unaware of the changes -- was still able to gain free entry during July and August (think this was because I have a business FNB credit card) . You can imagine my surprise when I was charge R500 for using the slow lounge in September.

When I queried this with Vuyo Maphanga (ref 776583)he provided a lame excuse without any substantive proof that a notification was sent to me in July 2015 indicating the change of rules using the slow lounge.

I did not receive the notification and believe this is an underhand way for FNB to conduct their business. I am seriously thinking of switching all my accounts back to SB.
