Unbelievable that I can't get an urgent bank statement online, and after 2 visits to the bank

A parking pay station at Eastgate shops seems to have been tampered with. It would not accept R100.00 note which it always does. It also says this on the machine. The display read : this machine does not accept this denomination . I therefore used my credit card which got stuck in the machine. Someone suggested that I put my PIN in, which I did. I was probably distracted but I may have left the card stuck in machine. At about 19H30 I got a message from FNB of suspected *****. I cancelled the card but about 20 transactions had already been made. No texts from FNB the whole day. I went to report this to the SAPS. They needed a detailed bank statement so I went to the bank to get this. The bank could only give a transaction history with codes, not details. Back to the SAPS who couldn't use it. Back to the bank. Friendly staff but no bank statement. Phoned the FNB ***** dept. from the bank. After 10 minutes someone needed the bank phone and I left. Phone ***** from home. Held on for 20 minutes. Issue not resolved . Beware of Eastgate and beware of FNB. Be as alert at a parking pay point as as an ATM. I will be out the country from 20 Dec so I can't follow this up. Discovery, Nedbank, Capitec all send an SMS when card is used. Not FNB. Norwood bank staff were friendly and helpful the system . The system is rotten. Many many thanks to Patricia & Nomsa . They really tried hard.

I received a phone call from FNB soon after my review. I was told exactly as I was told at the bank. It is simply not possible to get a bank statement currently. SAPS can't open a case without current bank statements. In addition , I only got an SMS from FNB at 19H37 ( on 18 Dec 2022) regarding suspected ***** on my card, but my card had already been used multiple for much larger amounts before that message . After checking on the banking app , I could see where ********** online or card payments were made ; eg: Cajees Time Zone ( R 16 000.00), Mizos Tavern ( R48 000). The call from FNB is appreciated , but it doesn't help.
If I can see the transactions on my phone ( SAPS won't accept a printout of this) why can the bank not do the same ?

The bank staff ( Norwood) were friendly and tried to help. ( no complaints there- thanks Nomsa & Patricia) It was a pleasure to deal with the SAPS ( Sandringham ) Time to change banks. I opened my bank account with then Barclays in 1979 and stayed with FNB from then on. I will be out the country for 2 weeks which I have told the bank, so it will not be an excuse when they say they tried to call me
