Unauthorized transaction

I mistakenly paid R5900.00 in to one of my old account that I used to pay. The account is under FNB saved as a beneficiary to my standard bank account, however, I realised that it was incorrect and I then requested for reversal. To my surprised standard bank is telling me that FNB says I did not fill the document correct and yet I can’t lie on the document that account is closed and I need to pay my car immediately!!!

Good day Sipho,

Thank you for your posting.

Please note this matter needs to be addressed with Standard Bank who has to assist and advise you on their recall process. Standard Bank will have to assist you to complete their forms correctly.

Due to the funds leaving Standard Bank's system they have to investigate where the funds are and assist with the recalling of it.

Regards,

Hello Peter Team
