Unauthorized FNB Connect SIM Activation & Deduction Without Consent

I recently opened/updated my account at an FNB branch and was encouraged to activate an FNB Connect SIM card.

I initially explained that I already have a registered SIM card linked to my important services and did not see the need for another one. However, I was persuaded to proceed.

Two days later, I noticed that a deduction was made from my account related to FNB Connect, even though the SIM card has never been used and is still in its original packaging.

The SIM now appears under my account profile, but there is no clear option available for cancellation on the app. I did not request any activation of bundles or recurring charges.

After researching online, I noticed multiple customers reporting similar issues regarding FNB Connect activations and deductions without clear consent.

I am requesting: Immediate cancellation of the FNB Connect SIM. Reversal/refund of any deductions made. Clear confirmation that no further charges will be processed.

I would appreciate urgent assistance in resolving this matter.
