Unauthorized debits from my business account
Yesterday morning I noticed a debit on our business account
23 Oct 2017 UNIVERSAL PAINTS - 485442*7325 17 OCT ********** ********** ********** 31 0.00 -2,259.09
We immediately called FNB because Universal Paints are not one of our suppliers. We were informed that ABSA debited our account and that the funds will be credited. This for me is completely unacceptable. How safe is our money with FNB? We as clients trust the bank to protect our money.
Still waiting for FNB to credit this to my account.

Thank you for your correspondence regarding an unrecognised transaction/s on your account.
We have been informed by ABSA that on 23 October 2017 they inadvertently processed a batch of card transactions dating back to the 16/17 October 2017 to incorrect accounts. They have given an undertaking to reverse these transactions this evening (24 October 2017) and sincerely regret any inconvenience or concern that this error may have caused.
