Unauthorized debit orders - my bank cannot tell me who's debiting my account?

<p>Dear FNB representative,</p> <p>I have been with your bank for 8 years to date. It has recently come to my attention that I have been debited amounts of R95 on my Cheque account of which I did not authorize.</p> <p>My hard earned money is kept in your possession for safekeeping, but it seems that I am moreso exposed as your bank does not offer me any guarantees on the safety of my investments. When calling in today to inquire I was told no information was available on who actually debited me, furthermore nothing could be done about it except reversing the debit order. <br />The service agent made it seem as if any individual could debit my account once they had my banking details. It is not my responsibility as your customer to safeguard my money, I entrust my funds to you to keep safe. If I can no longer trust my bank with my funds regardless of the minuet amounts, then why do I need to continue banking with your organization?</p> <p>There is also no option on your banking app or online to dispute or cancel the ********** debit order, though I can dispute and cancel my existing debit orders that are legitimate?</p> <p>I need proof of authorization received by the bank to debit my account for this amount by the company or individual whom submitted the debit order, failure to provide this information will result in me closing my account with you to move to a more secure bank.</p> <p> </p>
