Unauthorized Debit Orders and Poor Service

I have never experienced such incompetence and disregard for customer concerns until dealing with FNB Bank. My business has been plagued by unauthorized debit orders, and despite numerous requests, calls, and emails, the bank has failed spectacularly to resolve the issue.

After multiple attempts to cancel these unauthorized debit orders, FNB has only managed to reverse one out of four. Despite their promises to stop and cancel these debits, they continue to siphon money from my business account without authorization.

Their customer service is a joke. I've logged complaints through various channels, including Hallo Peter, only to be met with empty promises and excuses. Each time I call, I'm told that my issue is being "escalated," yet nothing ever gets resolved. Instead, they have the audacity to charge me R42 to stop a debit order and R47 to reverse it, as if it's my fault that their systems are flawed.

Adding insult to injury, they send me redundant emails asking the same questions their call center agents do, leading to a never-ending loop of frustration. It's clear that their left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing.

Today, on April 2nd, 2024, I once again called to reverse an unauthorized debit order from the same company that has been leeching funds from my business account. The R419 taken in September remains unaccounted for, despite my relentless efforts to rectify the situation.

I'm not just losing money due to these unauthorized debits, but also through the exorbitant fees FNB keeps slapping me with. And what do I have to show for it? Absolutely nothing. Not a single cent has been returned to my business account.

Enough is enough. FNB Bank has proven themselves to be utterly *********** and indifferent to the plight of their customers. I demand that they close my account immediately and transfer it to a bank that actually values my business. With the sheer amount of fees they're charging me, one would think they'd at least provide a basic level of service. But alas, FNB has failed miserably in that regard. Avoid this bank like the plague if you value your sanity and your hard-earned money.
