Unauthorized Changes/ Extra Charges

Good Day

I was at one of your branches today and the consultant in the branch advised me to contact the loans team specifically with regards to my personal loan. I contacted them and nobody could help me or tell me what the hell was going on with regards to my account.

I've taken a loan from FNB in November 2018 with an amount of R 22 000 for a term of 48 months. I've been paying my loan since the end of November and my outstanding balance is not decreasing at all, my outstanding balance is now on R 21 066 after paying my loan for more than 6 months why is my amount not decreasing? . For the first debit order it did not go off when it was supposed to which was the last working day of the month as that is when I get paid and that was the date given when initially taking the loan. The first debit order then went off on the 14th of December 2019 with an amount of R1025.35 No payment has gone off for January because that's a 'break' you guys give.On the 6th of February I transferred an amount of R 500 and then my debit order went off on the 28th February 2019 with an amount of R1025.35 which I have no issue with.

For the month of March my debit order has gone off on the normal date which was the 29th because that was the last working day of the month. In the month of April my debit order did not go off my account and I contacted the loans department via email to find out why it has not been debited because the money was in my account and no instalment has been taken. The consultant who responded to me via email then said it was a system error and that I should transfer my instalment amount from my easy account to my personal loan account which I did for that month with the amount of R1050.00 which was on the 6th of May 2019. She then advised that for the month of May my debit order will go off as per normal. For May month way more interest was added because you automatically changed my debit date from the last working day to the 25th of the month and when money was transferred into my account you immediately took that money from my account because you had my debit date for the 25th and not the 31st.

A consultant called me to rectify my debit date and he did so because my debit started going off on the normal date again in the month of June 2019. Now the consultant that I spoke to in the branch today as I mentioned above told me that you are supposed to refund me for all the charges that incurred with interest and any other late fees you have charged me for because you made unauthorised changes on my debit date and because you changed my debit date to a date I DO NOT GET PAID ON and a date I DO NOT HAVE MONEY IN MY ACCOUNT you charged me more for a mistake you people made and I was told it's a system error that was not fixed as it happened for April and May.

I expect you to take this matter further and sort it out ASAP because this is not the kind of service I expect from you as my bank. You should not be making changes to people's accounts without any authorisation or consent because look how that made my life difficult. Whatever needs to be refunded to me please sort it out and do so otherwise this will be taken further. I honestly cannot for the life of me understand why my outstanding balance goes up even though I make my payments when I should and you change my information.

This is the worst service I've ever received from you guys and I'm very disappointed.
