unauthorised tollgate transactions
good day i discovered that my fnb premier card was missing, while i was looking for it i dedided to use the fnb app to block it, hoping that i will find it somewhere. I had just replaced the card. i decided to order a new card for convinience. This was in December late. In january, i started noticing huge multiple transactions from the kanskop tollgate. i called fnb, and the card was blocked from their side. Transctions continued, i called them again, the card was then blacklisted. The transctions went to over R3000 from this tollgates and toll gates close by. My car is class a but these were transactions for bigger cars. My problem is fnb does not seem to care, i dont know how many times i have called fnb ***** division, consultants are mean and somehow blaming me for this incident. i am now at a negetive R4300, i got some money paid into my account and fnb took all of it and i am still at a negetive R4300. Schools are opening on the 15th, i will get paid on the 15th, and fnb will take again over R4000. On top of this fnb charged me close to R2000 for all the reversals on these transcations, transactions i did not make. i am a sinlge parent, how will i pay the children school fees etc. i remain frustrated with a bank that seems not to care. This continues to affect my account negetively. Emotionally i am depressed honestly.
so FNB assisted me yesterday however the problem persisted. The transactions continued and FNB charged me an additional R500. when i called, a request was logged but declined. when i called i was told that this is because the reversals a gesture of goodwill, therefore FNB cannot do reversals twice. Surely something is wrog with this account, how is it that a card that is blacklisted is still being used. i remain frustrated and i am considering finding another bank. This is such an inconvienience, Every morning i know that my card would have been used while i was sleeping.
