Unauthorised debit orders

It is almost a year since I have been struggling and complaining about unauthorised debit orders in my bank account. Call centre agents and bankers seem to be clueless on how to address the matter. Lately, I have had to reverse at least two of these debit orders each month. When I ask the bank about these and what criteria is used to process them, I am simply told that the bank cannot do anything to stop these debit orders. They say the bank gets instructions from third parties. It seems the easiest way to ***** money or rob people is to set up debit order instructions and the bank will honour them. Today, an FNB call centre agent simply slammed the phone on my ear when I enquired about a R299 unauthorised debit order. FNB has been unhelpful in dealing with this problem. It is not enough for one to be able to reverse the payments, the bank should take action against those **********. And it seems the bank is reluctant to do so. I wonder if the bank would adopt the same attitude if it was the bank's money that was at risk. The bank is also lax when it comes to the authenticity of the companies that make debit order instructions. Their company names are *****, and their contact numbers do not exist or their phones will ring unanswered. Meanwhile the bank has the audacity to approve such transactions. This is unacceptable. My patience is wearing thin. I will have to shop around and check what other banks are offering so that I can close my account with FNB. Even though these ********** are attacking clients at all the banks, at least with a new bank my account details will be safe and only known to me. FNB has failed me.
