unauthorised credit checks

I received two alert from transunion and when I pulled my credit report, fnb had conducted two enquiries in my name on Thursday 11 June 2015. On that day, I received an sms that my credit card application was unsuccessful. I ignored the sms thinking it was outdated for my application made in May which was declined. An enquiry was made in May for that application and also sent me an email with the reason for the declined. I never app**** again because it was going to mess up my credit report
