Unallocated payment

I have been doing eft to FNB home loan account for the past 10 years and my last month payment doesn’t reflects into my home loan account... I have spoken and emailed to everyone at FNB but this morning a letter of demand has been issued meanwhile it’s their fault.. can someone allocate payment into my account and adjust interest charged and no legally charges
