Unacceptable delay of delivery of my Cheque Account card
Hellow Peter...
To say I am angry is an understatement. I am livid by the service I have been receiving from FNB Durban Smith Street Branch/Call center. After opening a cheque account with them on the 5th of October I was told my card will be delivered in 7 days but at the moment we have reached the 24th of October with no feedback on the delay. I have been contacting the call centre day in and day out and their level of incompetence is appalling as they have failed to give me an explanation. On the 15th I was told the card was missing and it could not be tracked and they had to order a new one...there are many things wrong with that statement such as the fact that I had to call them first to be informed of this, they did not bother to notify me about this incident. On the same day I wrote to their complaints department and did not receive any feedback to date. I have changed the account into which my salary goes into with our payroll department, tomorrow is payday and I have no means to withdraw my salary...explain to me how is that good business practice on FNB's side? How do I pay my bills with this inconvenience? I can't even logon into my online profile. This ridiculous lack of service is proof why banks like Capitec have been taking over the banking industry, FNB has no regard for their customers and I regret switching over to them. I called the call centre today and they told me that the card has not been collected by any courier company from them...almost 3 weeks later!!
