Unacceptable Delay in Refund for Steyn City Ultra Trail Running Race
On 10 June 2025, I paid for the Steyn City Ultra Trail running race scheduled for 12 July 2025 through Inreach Lifestyle's website. Despite the payment being deducted from my account, I never received a confirmation email. When I contacted their offices, I was informed that my details were not on their system, despite the payment showing as deducted on my bank statement.
I've since filled out a card dispute form and provided all necessary evidence, but unfortunately, the funds have still not been refunded to my account. It's been over three months, and the lack of communication and resolution from both Inreach Lifestyle and FNB is frustrating.
I'm giving Inreach Lifestyle and FNB until the end of Tuesday, 09 September to resolve this issue. If the funds are not refunded, I will be taking this matter to my lawyers. I expect a prompt resolution to this matter, and I hope that Inreach Lifestyle will take steps to improve their payment processing and customer communication.
