Unable to perform their basic banking functions

FNB have frozen our company's bank accounts, for no reason other than delays they caused themselves. In October, they started sending emails to an email address that doesn't exist, trying to contact our MD. In November, our bookkeeper saw what was happening, and advised FNB of our actual contact details - details FNB have had for years, but seem unable to use correctly. A week went by before FNB sent THEIR FIRST email to our MD's actual email address. This puts us on 13 November. On 16 November, we sent FNB exactly what they had requested. Later that day, FNB responded, asking for further documents to be signed. Our bookkeeper has been off sick for a short while, and our MD was out of the country on business, so it took a few days until they got to the new request. In the meantime, FNB froze our business bank accounts, leaving us unable to pay suppliers (including SARS), and currently unable to pay month-end debit orders (including rent). All because of an unavoidable delay of a few days. On top of FNB's OWN delays amounting to NEARLY A MONTH, for which they seem to be punishing us, the client. We will be moving our banking business to another bank, one that cares about its clients and that can perform simple banking functions without hysterical overreactions.
