Unable to downgrade premier account from overseas

I have noticed many complaints regarding FNB lately on the platform and I'm just as disappointed. I have been a loyal customer for 35 years but maybe I should change that. My FNB cheque account pricing was changed in August without informing me of the change or giving me an option to change packages...I had to find out by looking at my bank statement and seeing bank charges. I use to retain a certain balance and not pay account fees. I send a complaint to *** 1 Sept about the situation and the fact that I would like my bankfees back and downgrade my account but I'm sitting overseas and can not go in to a branch. The function also does not seem to be available online to do this myself. I received a message saying a banker will call me but this did not happen and my issue is still not resolved, I followed up again 30 September on the same email thread but it is a week later and still no response of attempt to resolve. This is highly frustrating and will be really unfair if FNB charges me bank costs during this period where they are not resolving this issue and are being unresponsive. Perhaps it is easier to close my account than to downgrade? All I want to do is just down grade my account to an Easy account , Pay as you use option and link the cheapest Credit card facility to it. I don't understand why FNB cant assist with this simple instruction.

Good day,

my issues are still not resolved. FNB took more than 2 months to downgrade my cheque account to the easy account. and I was not reimbursed all the bank fees over this period. only for 1 month strangely. I responded back on the *** email and get no response other than a mailbox closure response. My credit card has still not been downgraded. FNB provided a quite in December only when I complained in September already and when I email
***, I get no response. This all while I have to keep on paying monthly bank fees. Why can FNB not respond via email. As mentioned, I'm abroad and for some reason they can never call my international number and likewise can not email met to resolve issues. This is not good enough. very disappointing.
