Unable to close the account

I am so irritated and I can't close my FNB account. I went to FNB branch in Festival mall 24/07/2020 to close my account due to the interest fees that i can't afford the lady adviced me to downgrade and I did just that and I signed some documents, at the end of the month they still charged me R109 for a cheque account but I asked them to downgrade it for me why am I still paying this much? I got angry and went to the branch at mall of Africa 19/08/2020 to close the account permanently since the downgrading didn't work they asked me to pay a certain fee just for closing the account why must I pay for closing the account? How am I paying while I went to the branch in Festival Mall to downgrade and the lady there didn't help me. Now I have to pay the services that I didn't use. Now i don't even have that money to pay and means the account would be on minus without me using it because I am unable to close the account. And that's the reason why i want to close the account i can't afford to pay their fees.
