Unable to book a Passport visit to FNB Cornubia

I have been trying to book a passport visit to FNB Cornubia for the past 3 months. Each time I check there's zero availability on timeslots. Why are we having such issues with FNB when Nedbank and Standard Bank are working seamlessly. I've even called through to FNB and was eventually told that I needed to speak to home affairs, which is exactly what we are trying to avoid by doing the application online and visiting a bank for the photos! Please FNB help - I've already spent R400 yet unable to complete the passport application. Why are your systems so poor compared to Nedbank & Standard Bank?
