Stay far away from FNB. They actually ***** your money from your account.

Tuesday I received a phone call from FNB wanting to "upgrade" account. I put down the phone, did not give permission for anything.

A while later I get notified my account has been up graded and all of a sudden my account was sitting in -R900 I received a payment from someone of R1300 and again my account and again after that my account was sitting in -R800. According to their consultant it's for "unpaid items". Received another payment of R1625 now my balance it 0, once again another "unpaid items" charge. which is absolutely ridiculous. Whenever a purchase is made, one receives a notification of the amount AND balance remaining. Even when receiving the notifications I still check my balance to see what's left before any other purchases are made. When there are not enough funds it is obviously not possible to make any purchases, and I also do not have an overdraft on my account.

FNB is brazenly *****ing money from their customers. I've had accounts with them since high school, but no longer will I put up with this. I will be getting lawyers involved and will be opening a case of theft against FNB.
