Tyrannical Leadership

I have been a client to FNB for a very long time and today was the first time I experienced such rudeness and arrogance.

I visited the Vanderbijlpark branch today and as I was busy with the bank consultant, a discourteous lady steps in to disturb the conversation (not asking and not caring about what we were busy with). The bank consultant stepped away to make a call (which was also in assistance with what we were busy with). The uncivil lady then orders the bank consultant to get off the phone. I then told this abrupt lady that the bank consultant was actually assisting me as I am wanting to open another account. The rude lady then says; "I am ordering her to hang up". She then continues to tell me about how that activity (the call) will be paid for; by FNB. I said to the bank consultant that I will call from my own cellphone, and she told the bank consultant that we are holding up the queue and that the consultant must not call the next customer and that the consultant must go help her preferred customer that she probably failed to help. I also feel like she told the bank consultant to get off the phone because I was not agreeing with her one-sided conversation. She was bickering about things I did not come to the bank for and disregarding what I came there for...all this because I said I my preferred means of communication to be a call. She continued to tell me that there are two (2) options that FNB use to communicate, namely (1). call and (2). email and they (the bank) will use the option that costs less for them. She then continues to tell me that I should read my emails and basically wanting me to leave so that her customer of preference is served. I feel ****ed and disrespected by this character and I am not going to lie, she is a new face in the bank as I have not seen her before in this branch (new could be a month or probably longer as I am extremely frequent in the bank).

From the saying "I am ordering her to get off the phone", I took it she was superior to the bank consultant.

She was dressed in the FNB dress, has short hair and I think she also wears spectacles. If I am not mistaken, her tag was written pinky or something of that sort.

I have dealt with 90% of the bank consultants in this branch and this is the first I ever have to write a bad review about FNB (that branch in particular).

This girl needs to be taken back to training that will teach her that each customer matters. I, myself am a customer and will never be allowed not to be treated like one! I have never seen any superior ordering a subordinate/colleague to abandon a customer only to go serve another customer of preference. Sies, I am revolted and feel disparaged.

I have banked millions with the bank and will not let a new "wanna be" come and disturb the peace that has been so peacefully maintained over the years!

This bank will crumble and fall flat if this is the service people will be receiving going forth!

This character is one of those that want everybody to feel that she is in charge, I don't even work in the branch and I picked that up in an hour.

It is unfortunate for her because she WILL be being my face a lot in that particular branch.
