Turnaround on Home Loan offer.

I will try and keep this long episode short and sweet. I app**** for a Bond through Tracey Masterton ( Bond Originator) during March this year. She submitted to the Banks and came back with approvals. As I am a Private Wealth FNB Customer I thought it is just right that I take them up on their offer. I got the final offer from her on the 9th of April 2019. The offer was for a certain amount and at a certain rate. I did apply for an extra amount through a quote for stuff that needed to be done at the new place. So firstly they declined the extra R100 000 (over 20 years) due to affordability. The funny and amazing thing was that during that same time I was approved for a R100 000 loan the moment I went into my Banking app. But lets leave that as it is. so after a bit of to and fro I got a final offer on the 9 of April from Tracey. The e-mail can be provided if wanted. On that it gave me the amount and the interest rate. Same day I duly accepted through the bond originator and the whole process was kicked into action. I did that on the same day as I was scared that I might lose the house that I have put an offer on. The problem now is that when I got to the Lawyers to sign my contract the amount offered was different and the rate has changed as well. I refused to sign as that was obviously not right. Today after quite a long process I get an e-mail from the Bond Originator that FNB is refusing to honor the quote I got and for some reason there is now a different offer on the table. It is not major at all but it is a matter of principle. I am in the business of financing vehicles. There is no way that I can offer a customer a certain deal and when he comes in to take delivery there is something else on the table. I am hugely disappointed in the Bank that is supposed to look after my interests. If this is how we do business with each other then I am very disappointed. I will provide all the necessary documentation but it probably will not be necessary as no one will make anything out of this at all. I probably just had to get this off my chest so that this sour taste in my mouth will hopefully get better. So I got a proper understanding today of TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT!!!!!!!
