TTEM PAID NO FUNDS charges from FNB ( Out of my pricing plan)
Disgusted by this, I've been on FNB for decades. They charged me this ITEM PAID NO FUNDS fee, something completely unrelated to my pricing plan. They pay a merchant on your behalf when you have insufficient funds instead of declining the payment and charging you the R8.50, so that I say "Oops, wrong card." Instead they pay on your behalf and charge me R150 penalty fee??? That's not even the worst part, I used this card the whole week, assuming I had enough money. Not once did they notify me that I had insufficient funds, they didnt even send me a notification that they penalized my account, so now i've been charged over R1000 without a single notification???
1) For years It simply rejected the payment and charged me R8.50. I was used to that way of handling this account 2) I was never notified I had insufficient funds 3) I was never notified of the charges once they were made (A total of R1080 went from my account and they couldnt even notify me like when you get notified for even buying bread) 4) this is not a part of my pricing plan
In a pandemic when everyone is struggling, the last thing I need is ******* in my life, tricking me into paying unnecessary fees. If these penalties are not removed, I will move my personal account, as well as my other business accounts for the whole family else where.
